HIZ by DIZ: The First Pre-Validation Program for Innovative Solutions in Healthcare
Health Innovation Zone (HIZ) represents a unique program for the pre-validation of innovative solutions in healthcare, offering access to industry experts, mentors, testing facilities, and a fast track to the international ecosystem. Through this program, we aim to prepare the next generation of innovative healthcare startups and build an innovation community in this industry.
The program is open to the following categories of teams

In this edition of Health Innovation Zone – Pitch Day, Imago-Mol Cluster and Digital Innovation Zone organize the national pre-selection for participation with special discounts at HTIS (HealthTech Investor Summit).
All teams presenting on 21 June have the opportunity to be selected for the Health Innovation Zone program and win a package worth €5000 to attend the HealthTech Investor Summit in Bruges, 9-11 December 2024 (all expenses covered).
The HealthTech Investor Summit provides a platform for healthtech startups and scale-ups to pitch their products to investors and industry experts, gain valuable exposure and obtain investment opportunities. More information about the HealthTech Investor Summit HERE.
Pitch Day – Health Innovation Zone 2024 was an exciting event that brought together 19 teams of innovators with the aim of selecting and integrating them into the program.
Teams that presented on June 21 and were integrated into the program have the opportunity to win a package worth €5000 to attend the HealthTech Investor Summit in Bruges, December 9-11, 2024 (all expenses covered).

In the second edition of the How To Web conference, Launch HealthTech, the Digital Innovation Zone presents itself in force
Our program was supported by a strong consortium composed of renowned institutions with extensive experience in innovation and medicine. Digital Innovation Zone is a leader in technological development, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi is well-known for its technical expertise, EIT Health is a reference in healthcare innovation, and “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi is a center of excellence in medical education and research.
Pitch Day was the highlight of the selection process for the Health Innovation Zone programme. The 15 teams of young innovators had the opportunity to present their ideas in front of a jury of experts in the field of health and entrepreneurship. The atmosphere was full of excitement and the teams demonstrated their passion and commitment to health innovation.
