Digital Innovation Zone present at the conference “Opportunities and resources for the development of the medtech sector”

Digital Innovation Zone participates in the conference “Opportunities and resources for the development of the medtech sector” that will take place on 23 November 2023, in Iasi, Hotel Unirea, “Cuza” Hall, starting at 11.30 am, under the umbrella of the Clusters meet regions event, organized by the European Commission, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), North-East RDA and the Romanian Clusters Association.

About the conference:
The conference is dedicated to presenting the results of MedTech initiatives in the North-East region, offers for collaboration with organisations at the national level or in the diaspora, as well as the portfolio of entrepreneurial projects developed through the Health Innovation Zone programme of Digital Innovation Zone.

Health Innovation Zone is a 6-month programme, in a format of design thinking and mentoring sessions, benefiting from the know-how of experts from EIT Health, Technical University Gheorghe Asachi and MAVIS Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre.

The “Clusters meet Regions” will host the DEMO DAY Health Innovation Zone, where the 12 teams in the programme will be able to present their prototypes of the healthtech solutions they have been working on during these 6 months.

The conference “Opportunities and resources for the development of the medtech sector” is part of the series of actions related to the implementation of the project Regional Centre of Excellence for Personalized Diagnostics and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (MEDIMAG-IA), SMIS code 152740, funded by the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014 – 2020, a project carried out by the Imago-Mol Cluster, with the support of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr. T. Popa” Iasi, the Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” Iasi, the “Sf. Spiridon” Emergency County Hospital Iasi and the North-East RDA.
