Digital Innovation Zone is the first digital innovation hub in the North-East Region, an initiative that has been in place since June 2019, based on the commitment of several public and private entities in the region with experience in innovation and digital solutions. It has become a recognized structure at the European level.
As a regional EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub), it is a One-Stop-Shop structure that supports companies and public institutions to become more competitive, providing access to four major categories of support services:
- Digitalization funding solutions
- New digital skills
- Connecting digital solution providers with clients and partners from the region and Europe through access to the innovation ecosystem
- Facilities for testing new technologies before acquisition
Digital Innovation Zone is the only European Digital Innovation Hub in the North-East Region of Romania. It was created in 2019, initiated by the North-East Regional Development Agency, universities, clusters, and several private companies in the technology and digital marketing field in the region. They provide expertise, solutions, programs, and professionals to support the digital transformation and innovation of SMEs and public hospitals.
