The Online International Industry Engagement Workshop on IoT organized on 25.09.2924 brought together innovators, academic leaders and industry professionals to explore how IoT is transforming various sectors. BEIA Consult International – Environmental monitoring solutions
Ionel Zatreanu, representative of BEIA Consult International SRL, presented the TELE-CONTACT cloud platform, a powerful tool for monitoring critical infrastructures and environmental parameters. With applications such as air and water quality monitoring, gas emission monitoring and operation in areas without GSM coverage, the BEIA solution ensures reliable communication and environmental compliance. This innovation aligns with European IoT projects such as DOME, Arrowhead fPVN and ISOLDE, supporting sustainable industrial operations.
Octavic PTS – Real time production operations management
Gabriel Dinu, representative of Octavic PTS, presented the Production Operations Management system, a solution that provides real-time information to optimize factory operations. With features like visual dashboards and instant alerts, manufacturers can minimize downtime, reduce waste and ensure on-time deliveries. The system enables companies to quickly take corrective action, increasing productivity and competitiveness.
Vegacomp Consulting – Intelligent parking for the cities of the future
Cornel Bărbuț representative of Vegacomp Consulting presented innovative parking management solutions based on IoT. The technology uses ultrasonic, geomagnetic and camera sensors to provide real-time data on parking space availability. Integrated with mobile applications and connectivity protocols such as LoRa and NB-IoT, this solution improves the parking experience and supports smart city initiatives by reducing traffic congestion and emissions.
