The Magic Labyrinth is a mental health center for children and adolescents that develops and applies speech therapy, applied behavioral therapy and sensory stimulation and integration therapy.
The center is especially aimed at children who already have a neuropsychiatric diagnosis such as Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Asperger’s disorder, Tourette’s
conduct disorders, oppositional, learning, emotional, behavioral, sensory processing and separation anxiety disorders.
At the same time, the center’s activity also considers typical children but with attention difficulties, concentration, difficulties or delays in speech, hypersensitivity to touch, movements, sounds or visual stimuli.
The center’s team includes: psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychopedagogue, ABA therapist.
The Virtual Reality (VR) assisted therapy solution will create an interactive and personalized environment dedicated to supporting the learning and recovery process for typical/atypical children (especially those on the autism spectrum) during speech therapy, ABA therapy (Applied Behavioral Analysis) and sensory stimulation and integration therapy sessions.
VR technologies can allow for the repetition of exercises in an engaging way, reducing the need for direct intervention and allowing therapists to optimize their time.
