Thursday, June 22, 2023, gave rise to a new long-term collaboration opportunity between the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs from the General Union of Industrialists in Romania (OFA UGIR) and Digital Innovation Zone – the only European digital innovation hub.
The partnership agreement was signed by the mutual signature of Mrs. Mirabela Miron – president of OFA UGIR and Mrs. Cristina Mihaela Baghiu – president of DIZ.
The Organization of Women Entrepreneurs from the General Union of Industrialists in Romania was established in February 2020, with the main mission of supporting, defending and promoting the interests of its members in relations with public authorities, trade unions and other legal and physical entities, both at the national level and international.
OFA UGIR aims to become the unified voice of businesswomen and to contribute to increasing the importance of women in the development of Romanian society. By supporting, developing and promoting women entrepreneurs, OFA UGIR supports business initiatives that generate innovative products and services, both at national and European level. The organization provides support and representation in the country’s 42 counties.
OFA UGIR is an active promoter of the development of female entrepreneurship, generating change and economic growth at the national level. Through its initiatives, the organization contributes to building a favorable business environment for women entrepreneurs, thus promoting Romania’s economic and social progress.
