We are living in fantastically dynamic times, where digitization is no longer a nice-to-have but a must-have. In addition to the other benefits, digitization brings us together, closer, more in touch with each other.
This is also the case with our friends and collaborators from the Republic of Moldova, who laid the foundations of the first Digital Innovation Hub, DIH of Moldova, with the support and in collaboration with experts from the Digital Innovation Zone.
Thus, our colleague Lidia Bețoaea, expert in the development of digital innovation ecosystems, participated last week, for the third consecutive year, in the Digital Transformation Days Forum, organized by ACETI (Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies), the DIH coordinator of Moldova.
During all these 3 years, DIH of Moldova developed according to the model of a European hub, offered by the Digital Innovation Zone:
۰ Has built an ecosystem with all the key elements: SMEs on the one hand, representatives of the IT industry and Universities that offer the technology, with testing facilities, on the other hand and last but not least, representatives of the public authorities that support the process of digital transformation through measures and funds and they are also requesting digital solutions,
۰ The process of mapping and evaluating the digitization needs of companies in the Republic of Moldova has begun,
۰ Assisted companies in the process of accessing the right financing for the identified digitization need.
We can say that the progress of the digital innovation hub in the Republic of Moldova has been accelerated and is still supported by the Digital Innovation Zone because DIZ has set out to provide support and develop long-term partnerships with the Republic of Moldova, offering knowledge and capabilities that it owns, for capitalizing on the opportunities that lead to the development of the two countries.
