DIGITAL SKILLS AND CULTURE FOR PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS IN THE NORTH-EAST REGION

Digital Innovation Zone launches the call “Digital Skills and Culture for Public Institutions in the North-East Region”.

In the current context of digital transformation, Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) reaffirms its commitment to supporting public institutions in the digitalization process. Thus, DIZ launches the call “Digital Skills and Culture for Public Institutions in the North-East Region”, intended for public institutions interested in developing the digital skills of their employees and promoting digital culture in their organizations.

Objective of the Call

This call has as its main purpose to support public institutions in the digitalization process, contributing to increasing the level of digital skills in the North-East region. Through this program, DIZ aims to facilitate access to specialized resources and training, essential for adapting to current technological requirements.

Public institutions can select courses from the Digital Innovation Zone Course Catalog, adapted to the specific needs of the target group in their institution, benefiting from services worth benefiting from services worth at least 30,400 EURO, depending on the courses chosen and the number of participating employees.

Who can apply

Public institutions that meet the following criteria are eligible for this call:​

  • They are based in the North-East Region.​
  • They have NOT previously benefited from digital skills development services provided by the Digital Innovation Zone.
  • They request at least the following mandatory DIZ services:
    • – Digital maturity assessment and advice audit/report, carried out in 3 different stages;
    • – Digital skills development service package (section 1.1 of the guide).

    What do we offer?

    Selected public institutions will benefit from:

  • Complete digital maturity audit and a personalized plan for the digital transformation of the institution.
  • 100% non-refundable personalized courses:
  • – Awareness and best practices in cybersecurity for non-IT employees (part of the actions preceding compliance with NIS2 – Art. 11 para. (1) and Art. 13 of GEO 155/2024);
    – Digital marketing and online communication;
    – Use of Artificial Intelligence for decision-making and many others.

  • Support for the development of a digitalization strategy, adapted to the needs of the institution.
  • NIS2 technology workshop especially for IT employees (includes an introductory workshop and a session to assess the need to implement the NIS2 Directive – cybersecurity)

    Important dates

    The call will be launched on April 15, 2025 and will be open until May 31, 2025. During this period, the DIZ team will be in constant contact with all those who wish to find out more information about the call, as well as to answer any questions that may arise along the way.
