GovTech Working Group Dedicated to the Digitalization of the Public Sector

On March 5, 2025, the Rubik Hub headquarters in Piatra Neamț hosted the GovTech Working Group dedicated to the digital transformation of the public sector. This session brought together professionals and technology experts for a session devoted to analyzing and addressing digitalization challenges.

Validation of digitalization needs

The first part of the meeting aimed to identify and prioritize digitalization needs:

  • The participants presented the main challenges in digitalization, based on the needs analysis collected between December 2024 and January 2025.
  • Within a dynamic working group, these needs were clarified and discussed, followed by a careful prioritization using the Impact vs. Feasibility matrix.
  • As a result of this session, a list of prioritized needs was generated, correlated with success indicators, which will guide the next steps in digitalization projects.
Identification of relevant digital solutions

In the second part of the event, the focus was on identifying technological solutions that address the collected needs:

  • Technology providers presented applicable solutions, highlighting how they can be integrated into the existing infrastructure.
  • A constructive debate took place regarding solutions that can address multiple needs simultaneously, resulting in the identification of the most relevant technological options.
  • The session concluded with the development of a detailed map of available technological solutions, accompanied by strategic recommendations for implementation.
Conclusions

This event highlighted the importance of collaboration among experts to digitally transform the public sector. The exchange of ideas and shared expertise generated concrete solutions and a clear action plan aimed at supporting digital evolution in public administration.
