On January 23, 2025 – ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, launched registrations for the “IT Industry Excellence Awards”, the 2025 edition, a competition that celebrates the most performing companies in the Romanian IT industry, as well as the products, projects and initiatives through which they stood out in 2024.
About ANIS
ANIS (The Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry) is the representative association of the Romanian IT industry, with over 150 member companies. As a promoter of digitalization representing the interests of the IT industry for 25 years, ANIS is a credible dialogue partner that can contribute to the creation of public policies that facilitate the use of technology for socio-economic development.
About the event
The event will take place in Bucharest on April 2, 2025, at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel.
The „IT Industry Excellence Awards 2025” is a competition with a tradition for the local IT industry, the first edition being organized in 2015. In 2024, the following companies were designated winners: BRIO, Kinderpedia, LIVRESQ and Magic School, Societe Generale GSC Romania, .lumen, Bonapp, Qualysoft, Adobe Romania, AROBS Transilvania Software, Seedblink.
“For 11 years, the ANIS Gala has been the occasion for companies in the industry to meet to celebrate innovation and where the best initiatives, products and impactful projects will be rewarded. We expect a large number of entries this year as well. We are certain that the Romanian IT industry, despite the difficulties generated by the complicated international context, amplified by the untimely fiscal changes at the national level, has proven to be resilient, innovative and can assert its success with a strong voice”, says Corina Vasile, ANIS executive director.
This year’s gala will be preceded by the second edition of the ANIS International Summit where, similar to last year, representatives of the most important local, regional and European institutions, as well as global and local companies, will debate the current context of the industry, both in the area of regulations, education and technological trends.
Award Categories
Companies can apply between January 23 – February 20, 2025 for the following 8 award categories:
- Innovation of the Year
- Education Program of the Year
- Startup of the Year
- R&D Project of the Year
- ESG Program of the Year
- Software Outsourcing Project of the Year
- Software Product of the Year (From this year, this category will have the Local subsections, for software products developed by companies with Romanian shareholders & International for software products developed by the R&D centers of international companies present in Romania)
- Company of the Year
Two special awards – ANIS Member of the Year and Best Personal Contribution – will be awarded on the same occasion to an ANIS member company that has distinguished itself through its involvement in the development of the software and IT services industry in 2024, respectively to the most active contributor to the association’s activity. For all other award categories, an independent jury will evaluate the submitted projects and select the finalists and winners of the competition.
How do you register?
Companies can register for the “IT Industry Excellence Awards”, 2025 edition, regardless of whether they are ANIS members or not, by completing the forms dedicated to each category on the website. Any company can apply for one or more categories.
