As part of the partnership between the Iași County Council and the Digital Innovation Zone, three online consultation events were organized during the month of November for the development of the Digital Transformation Strategy of Iași County.
These events, focused on topics such as e-Health, supporting SMEs and cross-border collaboration, brought to the fore the challenges and opportunities of the digital era and opened new horizons for the digital development of the county.
Regarding the SME component, we received extremely important feed-back from stakeholders regarding the challenges they face and what their needs are for better collaboration with our institution and other institutional actors, underlining the essential role of digital technology in increasing economic competitiveness.
On the subject of cross-border collaboration, the discussion focused on the importance of partnerships with the Republic of Moldova and a brief presentation of funding opportunities through Interreg, with an emphasis on digital innovation and the exchange of experience in the IT field, a discussion launched by the representative of the Regional Office for Cross-Border Cooperation Iași Romania – Republic of Moldova.
