The Digital Innovation Zone, the only EDIH in the North-East Region, concluded another year of intense activity with impactful projects and events for the digital innovation ecosystem in the region.
The Digital Innovation Zone – Digital transformation for entrepreneurs conference on March 23, 2023, organized in Iasi, marked the beginning of an important project dedicated to SMEs and public institutions in the region that need support to approach the digitization process in an integrated and sustainable way.
The DIGITAL INNOVATION ZONE EDIH – MANUFACTURING & SMART HEALTH project for better business, life and health in the North East Romania region – eDIH-DIZ, with a budget of 3.8 million EURO.
During this conference, more than 300 participants were present, representatives of SMEs and public institutions in the region, representatives of the 7 EDIHs in Romania, European commissioners, representatives of the Authority for Digitization of Romania and the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization. More than 30 speakers from all over Europe took to the stage, bringing to the attention of the present audience information about the importance of digitization in industry and health services.
In the TECH EXPO Zone, visitors could see and even test state-of-the-art technologies, digital platforms and industrial robots.
DIZ announced, for the first time, the packages of support services for digital transformation accessible to all SMEs and public institutions in the North-East Region.
Next year, the DIZ Digital Transformation 2.0 Conference will take place on March 28, 2024 in Iași, and we are waiting for you in large numbers because we are preparing even more surprises!
