During September 23-24, 2024, Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) participated as a partner in the 6th edition of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network Conference (CRAI), organized by the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University in Iasi, in collaboration with the Romanian-American Foundation and other prestigious partners, in the Palas Mall Iași (Palas Congress Hall).
About the event
The event brought together innovators, entrepreneurs and start-ups from Romania, promoting technology transfer and entrepreneurial education bringing together over 170 participants, including industry experts and international speakers.
Agenda of the event
The conference agenda included plenary sessions, thematic panels and CRAI Talks (ro/en), which covered topics of interest such as entrepreneurship education, technology transfer, intellectual property and funding opportunities.
Cristina Baghiu, DIZ coordinator, was present in the panel “Hubs, clusters and other partnerships for the promotion of innovation”, where she brought into view the role of hubs in the technological development of the north-eastern region of Romania.
After the plenary sessions and the conference discussions, the focus was on the CRAI Expo, the exhibition offering companies and organizations a platform to present their innovative projects and technological solutions.
Along with DIZ, some of the beneficiaries of the DIZ calls also participated: RaisisSoftware, Apollo AI Technologies, Adservio, Vision System Security, htss, Atta Board, SoulSteps and Partial Eclipse.
The event created an ideal setting for interaction between start-ups, academia and established companies, facilitating collaborations and strategic partnerships and strengthening relationships between academia and business.
