Creating the digitalization strategy of the organization
Based on the results of the digital maturity assessment, we will organize two work sessions (workshops) to analyze and outline a personalized digitalization strategy for your company/organization.
Together with the specialists of the Digital Innovation Zone, you will go through the information on what the digital transformation of the organization entails in the short, medium and long term. After the first working session, you will be directed to the “Test before investment” services to explore the technologies relevant to the company’s objectives and choose the most relevant technology scenarios, as well as the types of equipment and data management infrastructures.
These sessions will be specialized for both the manufacturing and health sectors.

The digital twin has as its central point the generation and use of a virtual replica of a real system. In industrial manufacturing, the digital twin can help a company test and validate a product before it even physically exists. In the medical field, specialists can personalize therapies or reduce the need for invasive procedures with the help of the digital twin. In addition, digital twin-based models are useful in examining various diseases, drug interactions, and medical devices.
Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The adoption of such technologies requires a certain level of readiness on the part of organizations, involving at least two basic dimensions. Internet of Things (IoT)
The proposed system consists of a network of wireless sensors capable of real-time monitoring of the clinical environment, the presence of people in a room as well as the detection of their actions. The aim is to target the most common sources of infection as well as the most common ways of their transmission, known from the specialized literature. The system will monitor several clinical scenarios that are known to play a role in the transmission of nosocomial infections, based on a rules engine that will be used to define the hygiene rules that want to be monitored and respected.
Virtual & Augmented Reality (VR&AR)
In the industrial domain, an implementation is made for manual control and monitoring of operating parameters of a fleet of autonomous omnidirectional mobile robots using the Hololens2 mixed reality system. In the medical field, there is a neuromotor recovery system (post-stroke, brain trauma or brain surgery) implemented for the upper limbs that can be used both in the early and advanced stages of recovery, based on virtual reality, brain computer interface and functional electrical stimulation.
These include web services for patient management (autocomplete medical records, online appointments and consultations, billing for medical services rendered), healthcare cloud platforms/services, robotic cloud and public cloud migration strategy.
Product innovation (Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing)
The proposed technologies support the exploration and development of solutions for the development of innovative medical devices through the design thinking approach. It also contributes to understanding the advantages of additive manufacturing with the possibility of introducing 3D printing technology both in the prototyping phase and in the technological flow. We provide advice on determining the optimal material as well as the method of 3D printing for a given application.
