The University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” from Iasi, Romania, is a public higher education and research institution that provides education for Bachelor degree, Master, PhD and continuous medical education. It is accredited by the European University Association (EUA) și World Federation of Medical Education (WFME). Named in honor of the scientist Grigore T. Popa, the University is classified by the Ministry of Education as an “advanced research and education university”. The University is a complex higher education institution, comprising four faculties: Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Medicine and Medical Bioengineering. With a teaching staff made up of 926 persons, it trains approximately 10,000 students in 16 specializations, in three languages of instruction: Romanian, English and French.
